Welcome to Down Home Auctions, Jimmy Hawkins' local auction house for the Anderson, SC area.

At Down Home Auctions, we can handle all aspects involved iwth the auction, from parking, pickup, advertising and display to the actual auction day itself. We can do large auctions and small down to a single item. We offer online auctions, onsite auctions, and in-house auctions at our auction gallery. We work with each client to determine the best way to get the most money for you. Our business works for you.
We effectively market your estate or consigned items by using a customized marketing strategy planned for each auction; this includes direct mail, advertising, web publicity, photography, and targeted e-mail.
Down Home Auctions has an experienced staff of auctioneers, clerks, cashiers, and ringmen. We also have a real estate broker on staff for help with selling your property at our auctions.
About Jimmy
- Jimmy is a graduate of Southeastern School of Auctioneers, and is now retired after 33 years of service at Michelin Tire. Jimmy has also been in the antique business for over 20 years, and has spent his entire life in Anderson, SC married to the lovely Trudy A Hawkins.
Friday Night Live Auctions
- We have exciting, fun auctions on Friday nights each week. We sell anythig, from produce to antiques. This is a general merchandise auction where dealer and public can buy and sell.If you have something to consign to our auction please contact us . Auctions are held at our office at 7 pm at 313 Beaverdam Road, Williamston, SC, one half mile behind Hardees.
